Qualified Tutor

QT was founded in 2018 by former school leader Julia Silver, to bring support and development to tutors.

Committed to raising standards in tutoring, Julia launched Qualified Tutor a professional membership organisation for tutors. With accredited training, community, and the Love Tutoring Festivals, they have now reached more than 5000 tutors worldwide with their message that ‘Tutoring is Not Plan B, it’s a legitimate profession and for some, a better career choice’.

Julia is passionate about improving outcomes for students by nurturing the adults that work with them.

QT have offered Yipiyap tutors the opportunity to join their community and access their training through your year with us. Their training is very helpful and would provide complimentary support to you all in your roles as tutors. We would really encourage you to take advantage of their free membership until the end of your time with us, potentially with a view to registering with them after you have finished your Yipiyap contract should you wish to continue tutoring.
