Yipiyap Upgrade is a bespoke service designed to support students resitting Maths and English GCSE which works to support school/college resit classes. Our results show that additional one-to-one or small group support with a relatable peer tutor helps students to overcome their reluctance to studying Maths and/or English, and that regular tuition sessions build confidence and improve outcomes.

Yipiyap Upgrade is usually delivered online to allow flexibility for learners to access sessions around their college timetables, work experience and industry placements. Some learners may prefer face-to-face support and we will be happy to deliver this at no extra charge, subject to availability.

It really does take a village and the Yipiyap Upgrade Engagement Plan has lots of ideas to engage learners and other key stakeholders such as teachers and parents. The Engagement Plan can be tailored to your setting to suit your cohort size and existing engagement activities and our templates can be easily branded with your college logo so that messaging is consistent and recognisable.
